SP Lasercut (Pty) Ltd, trading as Click Cut Ship, is the responsible party for the personal information described here, in terms of the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

What we collect
When you get a quote: the drawing you upload, and a random reference stored in your browser so your parts are still there when you come back. No name or email needed.
When you make an account: your name, email address, and password (stored hashed — we cannot read it).
When you order: delivery and billing address, phone number, and what you ordered.
When you pay: nothing. Yoco handles payment. Your card details never reach our servers.
Automatically: your IP address against each price we give you, so we can tell a customer from somebody harvesting our pricing.
Your drawings
Your engineering drawings are yours. We treat them as confidential.
- They go from your browser to our own workshop server. They are not stored on the website, or with any third party.
- We use them to quote and to make your parts. Nothing else.
- We do not share them, sell them, or use them as examples without asking you first.
- You can delete any drawing from your account at any time. If it has already been used for an order, we keep it as a production record — it stops being visible to anyone and is not offered for reordering.

Who else sees it
- The Courier Guy — your name, address and phone, to deliver
- Yoco — to take payment
- xneelo — our hosting provider, who host the site and our server
That is the whole list. We do not sell your information to anybody, and we do not send marketing you did not ask for.
How long we keep it
- Drawings: until you delete them, or 3 years after your last order
- Orders and invoices: 5 years, as required for tax
- Guest quoting references: 12 months
Your rights
Under POPIA you may ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Email privacy@clickcutship.co.za and we will respond within 30 days.
If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa.
Cookies
We use cookies to keep your basket and your login working, and to remember your guest quoting reference. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
Security
The site and our quoting server use HTTPS throughout. The link between them is signed cryptographically. Your drawings sit on a server that only our workshop can reach, and are backed up nightly.
If we ever suffer a breach affecting your information, we will tell you and the Information Regulator, as POPIA requires.
