2. What these terms cover

These terms apply to every order placed through clickcutship.co.za. By placing an order you agree to them. If you are ordering for a business, you confirm you are authorised to do so.

3. Prices

Prices shown on this site include VAT at the prevailing rate, currently 15%, in South African rand. Your basket and the checkout show the VAT separately — for example Total R426,24 (includes R55,60 VAT) — so you have the figure for your own records. Delivery is the same: the courier price you are shown includes VAT, itemised with everything else.

A quote we send you by hand is set out the other way round: amounts excluding VAT, with VAT added as a line at the end. Which way round it is presented does not change the amount payable.

Our minimum order for cut parts is R250 excluding VAT.

The price you are shown is calculated from your drawing, the material and thickness you choose, and the quantity you order. The price can change if you change any of those things, including quantity — parts are cheaper per unit in larger runs.

A price in your basket is confirmed again before checkout. If it has changed since you added it, we will tell you and show you the new price before you pay. We do not change a price after you have paid.

4. Your drawing

You are responsible for your drawing being correct. We cut what you send us.

Specifically:

  • Dimensions must be at 1:1 in millimetres
  • The outline must be closed
  • Bend lines must be on a layer we can identify, or clearly marked

Our software checks for problems it can detect — holes too small for the material, flanges too short to fold — and warns you. Those warnings are a courtesy, not a design review. A part that passes every check can still be wrong for what you intend to do with it.

You confirm that you have the right to have the part made, and that it does not infringe anyone else’s design rights or patents.

5. Tolerances

Unless agreed otherwise in writing:

  • Laser-cut profile: ±0.5 mm
  • Folded dimensions: ±1.0 mm per bend, cumulative across multiple bends
  • Bend angle: ±1 degree

Material may show minor surface marking from handling and forming. Thin material over about 1 m may show slight bow. These are normal and are not defects.

We do not read tolerance callouts, GD&T or notes on your drawing. If a dimension is critical, contact us before ordering.

6. Lead times

Lead times start when your order is approved by our estimator, not when you pay, and are given in working days.

Lead times are estimates given in good faith. We are not liable for loss caused by a delay, including consequential loss. If we are going to be late, we will tell you as soon as we know.

7. Order review

Every order is reviewed by an estimator before it goes into production. We may:

  • Contact you about a part we think will not work
  • Decline an order we are not able to make properly

If we decline, we refund you in full. We do not have to give a reason, though we usually will.

8. Payment

Payment is taken in full at checkout, through Yoco. We do not see or store your card details.

Your order is not confirmed until payment clears.

9. Delivery and collection

We deliver through The Courier Guy, or you may collect from our workshop.

Risk passes to you on delivery, or on collection. Please check your parts on arrival and tell us within 7 days of anything wrong.

Delivery addresses must be correct. Re-delivery to a corrected address is chargeable.

10. If something is wrong

If we have made a part incorrectly — it does not match your drawing, or it falls outside the tolerances above — tell us within 7 days of delivery and we will remake it at no charge, or refund you, at your choice.

Your rights under the Consumer Protection Act are not affected by anything in these terms.

See the returns policy for what happens when the part is right but you no longer want it.

11. Your files

Your drawings remain yours. We use them only to make your parts.

We keep them so you can reorder without re-uploading, and as a record of what we made. You can delete a drawing from your account at any time; drawings attached to a completed order are kept as a production record but are no longer visible.

We do not share your drawings with anyone outside our business.

12. Liability

Our liability for any order is limited to what you paid for that order.

We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss — including lost profit, lost production, or the cost of anything your parts were going to be fitted to.

Nothing here limits liability for death, personal injury or fraud, or anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of South Africa.
